This handsome cocker spaniel porcelain figurine was issued by Beswick of England in 1941 and retired in 1994. The figurine was designed by Arthur Gredington. The paint is called Golden Brown, Gloss. The figurine measures 5.75" tall and 7.5" from tail to nose. The piece is in excellent condition with no damage. The green and gold foil Beswick label is on its right hip. The stomach is stamped in black "Ch. Horseshoe Primula", and both front feet are stamped Beswick England. The detailing on the dog's face is wonderful. It is noted in the price guide "Beswick Animals 9th Edition" by Callows and Sweets.
